Perfect for fall

Hey everyone! Let's jump right into it! The brown I used was very thin and streaky. Not my favorite but after 4 layers, it was sold and opaque. After about 2 to 2.5 coats it looked good but I wanted to make it perfectly opaque and solid so I did 4 coats total. It dried extremely fast too. I was going to add my top coat because I did like the color but I decided to add the gold glitter polish on top. 2 coats was not necessary but I did it anyway. Then added my top coat, which by the way dried very fast. And the gold glitter dried very fast too. Each layer of polish dried on its own. Now I wait to see how long it all lasts before it starts chipping.

Black Matte Glitter nails

Hey everyone! A couple weeks ago I took a trip to the Dollar Store and picked up some matte top coat. I saw it and grabbed it because ive been wanting to try a matte top coat and not pay $8 for it. I also bought a fast drying top coat, although I was impatient and didn't give it time to do its thing I can't say if it really is "fast drying". The matte top coat on the other hand..... I love! My nails turned matte and dry (for the most part) in seconds! I've never had a matte polish so needless to say I was excited. You still have to be careful because all the layers of polish are not dry, just the top so you can still smudge the entire thing and make a finger print indent or two.

I went to Target a few days later and bought two more polishes. One being a pretty chunky glitter with a clear base and the other being a glow in the dark polish. I was excited for that one too. And surprisingly it did glow the dark! Again I was impatient so my nails didn't glow as much because I put the matte top coat over the glow in the dark polish. It has been about 4 days and by now normally my nails have started chipping but they actually aren't!

It's been WAY too long

A whole lot has happened since my last post. For starters my daughter Leah is almost 14 months old! Chris and I have been married for 6 months now, this 24th will be 7 months. I had my appendix removed not to long ago (early appendicitis), we moved again and hopefully soon it will be into our our place. I got my first job. And I'm really late to the working game I know. Chris and I both enrolled last week to get our H.S. Diplomas, we don't have a whole lot of credits to make up so it shouldn't take a really long time! I think that is all the major events that has happened since my last post. Just an FYI there are some affiliated links below

I did my nails a few days ago for Halloween.

Thumb is orange with black crackle, index finger is "bloody nail" like old dried blood with nail ripped off, middle finger is pink for Breast Cancer awareness month and it has a black crackle witch hat, ring finger has Chris' finger print in "blood" and pinky is "Goosebumps slime" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-4Y3n3ysVLQ here is the theme song.

Review time!

Earlier this month I FINALLY bought the Remington pearl ceramic t studio curling wand. Ive been wanting it for months! I've only used the wand twice and i love it. My curls lasted a couple of days without touch ups or anything. A++ it's very easy to use, I do 1 to 1 1/2 inch sections for 10-15 seconds then shake my whole head to loosen up the curls.

Very small beauty haul

Hey everyone! Hope everyone is off to great new year! Ours unfortunately started off with death. My sister in laws boyfriends cousin, sister and baby were hit by a car. The cousin died while in the recovery from surgery and her 3 month old baby boy was thrown 30 feet from her arms. He is fighting to stay alive and is breathing on his own .there was so much damage, it's too much to list. The sister I think only suffered a broken leg.that happened January 1. Today is the 2 year anniversary of Chris's cousins death. Some way to start off the new year, huh?

So onto something brighter, and more cheerful news! All but 1 product is from Ulta. The e.l.f. jumbo lip gloss stick was $3 at target (movie star)

From Ulta I bought acetone and cotton balls because I was running out. I bought another essence get BIG lashes mascara in black, it's my favorite mascara. Also from essence, gel eye liner in black (I've been wanting to try a gel liner for so long), nail art express dry drops(something else I've been wanting to try) and a stay matt lip cream in silky red.   From NYX (a while ago) a soft matte lip cream in Amsterdam, and a butter gloss in cherry pie. I do plan on doing some reviews on these products. I'm excited!

I forgot I also bought a new purse from target that was half off. Good deal right? I find target purses to be expensive and not worth the price...unless they're on sale.
